BCS HR Software expands presence in Belgium through acquisition of epowerhr

BCS HR Software has acquired the Belgian company epowerhr to strengthen its presence in the Benelux countries. This acquisition is part of BCS' expansion strategy.

BCS HR Software, a provider of HR and payroll software solutions, has acquired the Belgian company epowerhr. This acquisition is part of BCS' growth strategy in the Benelux and marks the fifth acquisition since the investment of Main Capital in April 2022. Previously, BCS already owned Apployed, Tasper, MediSoft and the HR and payroll division of Centric.

The acquisition of epowerhr is a logical continuation of our expansion in Europe. BCS is committed to continuing to offer innovative and high-quality HR software solutions.

Main Capital Partners opened an office in Antwerp in 2022 to support the growth of its portfolio companies in Belgium. The acquisition of epowerhr is the second in the Belgian market after the acquisition of Eurotracs and will accelerate BCS' organic growth in Belgium.

BCS has more than 45 years of experience in the HR and payroll software industry and offers solutions for absence management, payroll, flexible working, HR administration and employee relations.

We see many opportunities in the Belgian market and have put an extra focus on this by opening our office in Antwerp. The fact that this leads to a cross-border acquisition in one of our strongest product market segments is an important strategic step.

Founded in 2000, epowerhr provides clients with solutions for assessment interviews, onboarding, training and performance and process measurement. epowerhr's clients come from a variety of industries, including healthcare, financial services and manufacturing.

The acquisition enables BCS to expand its portfolio in the employee journey with solutions such as scheduling, employee file management, expense management and payroll. This move is part of BCS' strategy to strengthen its market position and offer an enhanced service to its customers in Belgium.
