Bucher Municipal takes over Enway

The vehicle manufacturer had already previously cooperated with the software start-up. Together, the companies now want to put autonomous sweepers on the road.
The Swiss vehicle manufacturer Bucher Municipal is taking over the start-up Enway. The Berlin-based company's software solution is already being used in one of the sweepers manufactured by Bucher. In future, the two companies will be even more closely linked.
Enway, founded in 2017, offers software for autonomous driving. The Berlin-based company focuses on commercial vehicles, particularly municipal sweepers. In Singapore, where the start-up also has a site, a Bucher machine equipped with the software was already approved for test operation last year.
The Enway brand will continue to exist, as Bucher explained in a press release. The existing management team will also remain on board. The two locations in Berlin and Singapore will also continue to operate, which is why all Enway employees will remain on board after the takeover.
