Bullfinch strengthens management

The start-up was able to attract a former DWS board member, among others. The aim is to become the leading "climate fintech".

The financing platform Bullfinch is continuing to expand its team and has been able to convince several former executives from well-known companies to join. According to the company, Niko von Tippelskirch will become the new COO and Gabriele Donino will become CTO. Alexander Schütz has also joined as CRO, Annie Dalietou as CFO and Tim Baack as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The start-up sees itself as a "climate fintech". Founded in 2019, the Frankfurt-based company aims to finance companies and real estate projects that rely on renewable energies.

With Niko von Tippelskirch, Bullfinch has gained a high-caliber person. The new COO was previously a member of the Management Board of asset manager DWS, which is also listed on the stock exchange, and previously worked at Deutsche Bank for around two decades. In his new role, he will be responsible for Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations and Compliance & Governance. He says: "I am delighted to be part of a highly innovative and dynamic team of entrepreneurs and investors. We are well on the way to making Bullfinch the leading Climate FinTech."

Gabriele Donino has also already gained expertise in a large company. The new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) was once head of the Digital & Artificial Intelligence department at the Swiss reinsurance company Swiss Re. He later worked for a global AI software provider. He brings growth plans to Bullfinch: "I am excited to be part of such a talented group and to help build on Bullfinch's leading position in the GreenTech financing market. My focus will be on scaling and enhancing the digital ecosystem with advanced AI data products."
