Bullfinch strengthens management

The start-up was able to recruit a former DWS board member, among others. With this, it wants to become the leading "Climate Fintech".

The financing platform Bullfinch continues to expand its team and was able to convince some former executives from well-known companies to join. According to the company, Niko von Tippelskirch will become the new COO and Gabriele Donino will become CTO. Also joining the team are Alexander Schütz as CRO, Annie Dalietou as CFO and Tim Baack as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The startup sees itself as a "climate fintech". Founded in 2019, the Frankfurt-based company aims to finance companies and real estate projects that rely on renewable energy.

With Niko von Tippelskirch, Bullfinch was able to attract a high-caliber executive. The new COO was formerly a board member of asset manager DWS, which is also listed on the stock exchange, and previously worked at Deutsche Bank for around two decades. In his new role, he will be responsible for Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations and Compliance & Governance. He himself says: "I am delighted to be part of a highly innovative and dynamic team of entrepreneurs and investors. We are well on our way to making Bullfinch the leading Climate FinTech."

Expertise in a large company has also already been gained by Gabriele Donino. The new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) was once Head of Digital & Artificial Intelligence at Swiss reinsurance company Swiss Re. He later worked at a global AI software provider. To Bullfinch, he brings growth plans, "I am excited to be part of such a talented group and to help build Bullfinch's leadership position in the GreenTech finance market. My focus will be on scaling and enhancing the digital ecosystem with advanced AI data products."
