Cure raises 15 million euros

The start-up intends to use the new capital to open its first international branch in France.
The pharmacy delivery service Cure has received 15 million euros in its Series A financing round. The round was led by French venture capitalist Breega. Abstract Ventures, J12 Ventures and Pilabs are also participating.
Founded in 2021, the start-up has developed an app that customers can use to select and order medical products. Cure works together with a network of local pharmacies. The pharmacy delivery service now also offers a healthcare platform. Patients can use the Getcure app to make an appointment with a doctor or receive a digital prescription. "Our mission is to facilitate access to medical care - without having to leave the house," says Manuel Aberle, COO and co-founder of Cure. He founded the company together with Ali El-Ali.
The founders want to use the new capital to drive expansion in Germany and France. The functions of the health platform are also to be expanded. The start-up plans to integrate an online consultation on its platform before the end of this year. Applications such as telediagnostics and telemonitoring are to follow in 2023.
