Cure raises 15 million euros

The start-up plans to use the new capital to open its first international office in France.

Pharmacy delivery service Cure has received €15 million in its Series A funding round. The round is led by French venture capitalist Breega. In addition, Abstract Ventures, J12 Ventures and Pilabs are participating.

Founded in 2021, the startup has developed an app that allows customers to select and order medical devices. To do so, Cure works with a network of local pharmacies. Meanwhile, the pharmacy delivery service also offers a health platform. Patients can use the Getcure app to make a doctor's appointment or receive a digital prescription. "Our mission is to facilitate access to healthcare - without having to leave home," says Manuel Aberle, COO and co-founder of Cure. He co-founded the company with Ali El-Ali.

The founders want to use the new capital to drive expansion in Germany and in France. In addition, the functions of the health platform are to be expanded. Before the end of this year, the start-up plans to integrate an online consultation on its platform. Applications such as telediagnostics and telemonitoring are to follow in 2023.
