The start-up aims to refurbish buildings in a climate-neutral way within a short space of time. Now new investors are getting on board.

Ecoworks has received 7.7 million euros in its current financing round. The new investors include the Warema Group, JLL Spark Global Venture, Zacua Ventures and Blackhorn Ventures. Existing investors PropTech1 and Motu Ventures as well as several business angels also participated in the financing.

The start-up aims to renovate inefficient buildings into energy-plus houses within just a few weeks. The company's own façade and roof elements are used for this. Emanuel Heisenberg founded the company in 2018. He intends to use the new capital to strengthen the products in the areas of automated planning, hardware and the supply chain. New employees will also be hired.

"The investment underlines: We are convinced that Ecoworks will continue to actively shape the remediation industry. Serial refurbishment will be the key to climate-neutral living," says Raj Singh, Partner at JLL Spark.
