Ecoworks raises 7.7 million euros

The start-up wants to make buildings climate-neutral within a short time. Now new investors are getting on board.
Ecoworks receives 7.7 million euros in its current financing round. The new backers include the Warema Group, JLL Spark Global Venture as well as Zacua Ventures and Blackhorn Ventures. Existing investors PropTech1 and Motu Ventures as well as several business angels also participated in the financing.
The start-up aims to turn inefficient buildings into plus-energy houses within a few weeks. The company's own facade and roof elements are used for this purpose. Emanuel Heisenberg founded the company in 2018. He plans to use the new capital to strengthen the products in the areas of automatic planning, hardware and supply chain. It also plans to hire new employees.
"The investment underscores, 'We are convinced that Ecoworks will continue to actively shape the remediation industry.' Serial renovation will be the key to carbon-neutral housing," says Raj Singh, partner at JLL Spark.
