"Our vision with Emmora is to create a compassionate and reputable digital service that removes the taboo surrounding death and sees it as part of life," says Emmora co-founder Evgeniya Polo.
Evgeniya Polo and Victoria Dietrich founded Emmora in Hamburg in 2019. According to information from start-up scene the start-up generated a six-figure turnover last year. In addition to the platform, Emmora also operates an online store for mourning candles and cards.
