Freaks 4U Gaming gets new partner

VC co-investor Partners invests 15 million euros in the gaming start-up. This is the first external financing for the Berlin-based company.
The Berlin-based gaming start-up Freaks 4U Gaming is raising money from an external investor for the first time. Co-Investor Partners is investing 15 million euros and will receive a minority stake in return. The investor has previously invested money in Mister Spex, among others.
Freaks 4U Gaming claims to be a full-service agency for the video games sector. In addition to advertising campaigns, the company also offers strategic consulting, influencer management and the production of web and TV formats. Until now, the company has only invested its own money, explains founder Michael Haenisch. "However, we are delighted to have now found a partner who believes in our values, our business model and our experience," he says. Haenisch founded Freaks 4U Gaming in 2011, and today the company employs 200 people in Germany, Italy, France, Serbia, Switzerland and the USA.
"The growth figures in the gaming and e-sports market are simply impressive - and our investment in 'Freaks' gives us the opportunity to participate in one of the most important market players in Western Europe," explained Farsin Yadegardjam from Co-Investor Partners.
