Fundflow has found a buyer

The fintech only filed for insolvency in May and has now been taken over, according to a media report. The insolvency proceedings should be completed by the end of the month and the employees will probably be able to stay on. Almost nothing is known about the buyer.
The fintech Fundflow helped other companies with short-term liquidity problems - then it had problems with its own liquidity. Now there is a new owner: According to Gründerszene founder Joachim Kaune stated that Fundflow is going to a fund and a private individual. The amount is not known. The ten employees will be taken on, but the positions of Kaune as CEO and co-founder Antonio Faralli are not yet clear and must be negotiated.
Fundflow filed for insolvency in May of this year and the proceedings were opened in mid-August, as Kaune told Gründerszene. The proceedings should be completed by the end of the month, after which Kaune will "see to what extent I can contribute to the new company."
Jan-Philip Ramsperger, Faralli and Kaune founded the fintech in 2015. The former left the company a year later. Fundflow pays companies' outstanding invoices in the event of short-term bottlenecks to prevent them from getting into major difficulties. In 2019, it was still successful with this business model: Fundflow generated 800,000 euros at the time. However, the number of customers plummeted with the government's aid for companies. According to Kaune, the takeover has brought the number of customers back up to several hundred, partly because Fundflow now offers extended functions.
