Klarna founder invests millions in 1Komma5°

The start-up has already raised several million. With the help of the Klarna founder's expertise and network, the start-up now wants to scale internationally.
According to information from Gründerszene Klarna founder Niklas Adalberth has invested in the Hamburg-based start-up 1Komma5° via his investment fund Norrsken Foundation. The exact amount is not known, but it is said to be a high, seven-figure sum.
The environmental start-up from former Tesla manager Philipp Schröder has only been in existence since last year, but has already raised more than 200 million euros. The capital came from Porsche Ventures, Btov Partners, eCapital, Eurazeo and several family offices. The start-up is building a "one-stop store" for renewable energies. The start-up will provide consumers with sales, installation and service for solar systems, electricity storage and charging infrastructure from a single source. To this end, the start-up acquires stakes in electricians, who then install the systems at customers' homes on behalf of 1Komma5°. The start-up also develops software to network the systems with each other. This creates a virtual power plant.
Niklas Adalberth will now use his expertise and network to help the start-up scale its sales internationally. Schröder told Gründerszene that 1Komma5° wants to use this to expand its virtual power plant.
