Klarna founder invests millions in 1Komma5°

The start-up has already raised several million. With the help of the Klarna founder's know-how and network, the start-up now wants to scale internationally.
According to information from Gründerszene the Klarna founder Niklas Adalberth has invested in the Hamburg-based start-up 1Komma5° through his investment fund Norrsken Foundation. The exact amount is not known, but it is said to be a high, seven-figure sum.
The environmental start-up from former Tesla manager Philipp Schröder has only existed since last year, but has already been able to raise more than 200 million euros. The capital came from Porsche Ventures, Btov Partners, eCapital, Eurazeo and several family offices. The startup is building a "one-stop store" for renewable energy. Consumers will be able to obtain sales, installation and service for solar systems, electricity storage and charging infrastructure from a single source. To this end, the start-up is acquiring stakes in electricians who will then install the systems at the customers' homes on behalf of 1Komma5°. The start-up is also developing software to network the systems with each other. This creates a virtual power plant.
With his know-how and network, Niklas Adalberth will now help the start-up to scale its sales internationally. In this way, 1Komma5° wants to expand its virtual power plant, Schröder states to Gründerszene.
