Following the sale of Ralf Dümmel's consumer goods company to Georg Kofler, it is unclear what will happen next on "Die Höhle der Löwen".

Ralf Dümmel has sold his consumer goods company to Georg Kofler's Social Chain AG for 220.5 million euros(we reported). In an interview with Gründerszene, the two "Die Höhle der Löwen" judges spoke about their future on the Vox show - and leave little hope for joint appearances.

"It's very unlikely that Georg and I will occupy two chairs on the show in future and shout deals at each other from a distance. That wouldn't be fair to our fellow lions either," says Dümmel in the Gründerszene interview. Kofler could imagine taking turns with Dümmel on a regular basis. Nevertheless, he would like to give the popular lion the edge. "A show like "Die Höhle der Löwen" without "dümmel" every week would be hard to sell to viewers," says Kofler.

Both lions can still be seen on the show until fall 2022. The episodes that are to be broadcast by then have already been filmed. New contracts for the fall 2022 season are to be negotiated in the coming weeks. It will then be decided how things will continue with the investors Dümmel and Kofler on "Die Höhle der Löwen".
