Founders Alina (29) and Christian Hanauer (33) from Großhabersdorf have developed a product that aims to make the snorkeling experience safer and more enjoyable. Their Seaview Pro snorkeling mask prevents the dangerous re-inhalation of stale air, which can lead to dizziness and unconsciousness. The mask has a special valve system and a wide silicone frame for greater comfort. The founders are looking for a partner to enter the market with an offer of 350,000 euros for 8 percent of company shares.
Noac - The ExoRobot for the operating room of the future
Sabrina Hellstern (40) and Claudia Sodha (59) present Noac, a robot that supports surgeons during operations and helps them to work more ergonomically. The ExoRobot relieves the surgeon and can reduce fatigue and pain, which leads to an increase in surgical precision. The founders are looking for an investment of one million euros for a 5 percent share in the company.
LÆMON - Jewelry bracelet with integrated alarm
Susana Gomez presents LÆMON, a jewelry bracelet with an integrated alarm that calls for help in an emergency. The bracelet automatically sends a text message with the live location to selected emergency contacts. With an investment of 500,000 euros, the team aims to enter the market.
Nature Pandan - exotic taste sensations from Germany
Anne Rich presents pandan products made from the leaves of the pandan palm, which are still little known in Germany. She plans to enter the market with pandan extract powder and pandan syrup extract, which can be used in the kitchen.
BOULDERBALL - The smallest climbing wall in the world
Gertraud Lantschner (45) and Dieter Kofler (54) present the Boulderball, an innovative training solution for climbing enthusiasts. The founders are looking for an investment of 160,000 euros for 15 percent of the company shares.
Reunion with Soummé
Sümmeyya Bach and investor Ralf Dümmel present Soummé, an antiperspirant that has already sold over 800,000 units. The company is now planning to gain a foothold in the United Arab Emirates. With a personal meeting with Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Quassimi and a placement in the largest drugstore chain Watsons, they have already achieved their first successes.
Audience figures drop significantly
In recent years, 'Die Höhle der Löwen' has been an integral part of the TV program and has enjoyed great popularity among viewers. However, the start-up show is currently struggling with declining ratings. Last Monday's edition recorded a total of 1.3 million viewers, with only just over 400,000 viewers being reached in the advertising-relevant target group of 14 to 49-year-olds. This resulted in a market share of just over 9%, the lowest figure for around a year. Possible reasons for the decline could be the established concept of the show as well as the departure of popular lions such as Judith Williams and Frank Thelen and the general decline in interest in start-ups.
