The Dresden-based start-up Entwicklerheld receives half a million euros. The company intends to use the investment to expand.

Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen and Björn Bak, founder of the online dating platform Lovoo and the investment company Edition.VC, have invested in the Dresden start-up Entwicklerheld. A total of half a million euros flowed into the young company.

The start-up focuses on the placement of programmers. According to the company, 20,000 developers are registered on its own platform. The start-up now wants to further expand this platform with the help of the new funding.

The computer scientists from TU Dresden founded Entwicklerheld just two years ago. However, the new investors obviously see opportunities. "The platform has the potential to become a market-leading provider of developer services in the coming years," investor Bak told the business blog Oiger.
