Main Capital Partners acquires majority stake in Unik System Design, a Danish software provider for housing and property management and legal administration, with plans for international expansion and new SaaS products.
Stockholm - Main Capital Partners has announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Unik System Design. Unik is an established software provider with expertise in housing and property management and legal administration. Main will act as a strategic partner to the management team and support Unik on its path to becoming a leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider, with a focus on an international buy & build strategy.
We were not in the market for a partner, but in our dialogue with Main we recognized the potential that this partnership could bring. After 38 years as CEO and principal owner, I clearly feel that this is the right decision for Unik, our customers and our employees.

Unik was founded in 1985 and has offices in Vejle, Aalborg, Copenhagen and Warsaw, employing over 240 employees and consultants. The company provides software solutions to the market and serves more than 900 customers, including housing associations and legal departments in Denmark.
The development of two ground-breaking SaaS products, HabiCen and JustiCase, is part of Unik's next big innovation, with a focus on improved security and operational efficiency.

Unik plans to launch two new SaaS products, HabiCen for housing and property management and JustiCase for legal management, to replace its existing products Unik Bolig and Unik Advosys.
Main Capital Partners will support Unik in expanding its product offering and driving growth. Strategic acquisitions will also play a role in expanding the product portfolio and strengthening the market position both in Denmark and internationally. This partnership between Main Capital Partners and Unik promises interesting developments in the areas of software solutions for real estate and legal administration.
