Millions for application app Aivy

Despite the deal falling through on DHDL, the founders have now been able to convince investors.
The HR start-up Aivy has successfully completed its seed round. According to Business Insider , Andreas Schmitz, former Head of HR at Roche Germany, and early-stage investor Matthias Helfrich, who finances companies such as DriveDressy and Sirplus, participated in the round. The Business Angel Club Berlin Brandenburg and several existing investors are also providing the Berliners with further funds. This brings the total amount invested in the start-up to around 1.5 million euros.
Instead of focusing on CVs and grades, the company wants to improve the pre-selection of job candidates by playfully assessing the skills of each applicant. Employers can use Aivy to develop requirement profiles for job vacancies, from which the app can draw inspiration for suitable assessment games. Companies can see the results that participants achieve in the case studies. According to CEO Dyballa, over 150,000 aptitude tests have been carried out on the platform to date. This also convinced business angel Matthias Helfrich: "As many of the applicant skills that are important to employers these days cannot be derived from grades or application letters, I believe that Aivy's approach is exactly right for targeted and also sustainably successful recruitment as part of modern HR policy."
Before the business expands, the four-person start-up team, led by CEO Florian Dyballa, needs to build up marketing and acquire additional customers in Germany. More than 50 companies, including start-ups such as NU-Company and medium-sized to large companies such as the assembly technology group Würth, the Nivea Group Beiersdorf, Fresenius and Bayerischer Rundfunk, have joined the career tool so far.
