Mozilla invests in Heylogin

The Braunschweig-based start-up wants to use the money from its pre-seed round to make its password manager attractive to SMEs.
Heylogin has successfully completed its pre-seed financing round and raised 900,000 euros. The money comes from Mozilla, the company behind the Firefox browser, as well as several business angels, including former E.ON Germany CEO Ingo Luge.
Vincent Breitmoser and Dominik Schürmann founded Heylogin to make the internet as "password-free as possible". To this end, the company relies on a password manager that uses a swipe-to-login solution instead of a master password. Since the app was first released at the beginning of 2021, 900 organizations have already been convinced by the solution.
Heylogin now wants to use the money to expand its own product to make it attractive for SMEs. The marketing budget is also to be increased.
