NXRT receives 2.1 million euros

With the capital from Eqventure, the start-up from Lukas Stranger, Patrick Kolar, Martin Wagner and Alexis Kopciak is increasing its previous financing.
The Viennese start-up NXRT has received a further 2.1 million euros. Hermann Hauser and Tricentis founders Wolfgang Platz and Franz Fuchsberger invested via venture capitalist Eqventure. The capital increases the previous financing to a total of 3.6 million euros.
Lukas Stranger, Patrick Kolar, Martin Wagner and Alexis Kopciak founded NXRT in Vienna in 2019. The start-up works on simulation technologies for rail and road transportation. Automotive companies can use the mixed reality platform to carry out virtual test drives, for example. The test drivers put on VR goggles to do this. They can continue to see the interior of the car and their own hands the whole time to ensure an authentic driving experience. In the rail sector, the platform is used to train staff: they can practise everyday scenarios and extreme situations on 3D-visualized switches and track sections. The start-up's customers include Porsche, Audi, Rhomberg Sersa Vossloh and Rail4mation.
"Our platform provides the automotive and rail industries with the tools they need to develop their own simulation solutions," explains NXRT Managing Director Lukas Stranger. "This financing round will enable us to tap into additional markets and accelerate our progress from solution provider to platform provider."
