Prediction Capital launches 30 million euro fund
The new VC primarily wants to make early-stage investments. The first investments have already been made.
Prediction Capital is a new venture capital provider in the German-speaking region. As the company announced, the first generation of funds is endowed with 30 million euros. The money will flow into fintechs and consumertechs, mainly in seed and pre-seed rounds. Prediction Capital also wants to ensure that the start-ups' business activities have a positive impact on the UN's sustainability goals.
Prediction Capital is backed by the investment firm Infinitas Capital. The founding partners are the experienced angel investors Robin Lauber, Christopher Chuffart and Kilian Graulich. "Our main goal is not only to support founders with capital, but also to work with them on various levels by actively helping them to progress with our expertise and our network," explained Lauber at the launch.
The team has already made its first investments. Money has already flowed into Heritas, Foodetective and House of Change.
