Quantagonia closes pre-seed financing round

The start-up of former Deutsche Bahn board member Sabina Jeschke has been launched and has already secured funding from renowned technology funds.
The newly founded start-up Quantagonia has received funding from a consortium of three technology investors in a pre-seed financing round. The round was led by the Fraunhofer Technology Transfer Fund and Voima Ventures. According to Capital, an undisclosed family office also participated in the financing for an unknown amount.
Former Deutsche Bahn board member Sabina Jeschke founded Quantagonia together with Sebastian Pokutta, Dirk Zechiel and Philipp Hannemann. Sabina Jeschke had only recently left Deutsche Bahn as she wanted to focus more on start-ups. The start-up is based in Germany and is also active in the USA and Sweden.
Quantagonia is working on translation software to make existing program codes readable for quantum computers. So far, there is no simple solution - the programs have to be rewritten so that they work on the quantum computer. "The entire Quantagonia founding team is delighted to have the support of such established funding partners to help us bring our technology to market," says Quantagonia co-founder and CEO Dirk Zechiel.
