RGI buys Flexperto

The Berlin-based start-up Flexperto digitizes communication steps within companies. The Milan-based company RGI has now acquired the start-up.

Nine years after it was founded, Flexperto has been sold. Milan-based RGI, a portfolio company of Corsair Capital, has acquired 100% of the Berlin-based start-up. Flexperto supports companies in B2B communication with web-based software tools. The purchase price is not known.

Flexperto was founded in 2012 and has been able to attract investors such as Hub:raum from Deutsche Telekom, IBB Ventures and Berliner Volksbank Ventures in financing rounds since 2015. 100 customers rely on the Berlin start-up.

For Corsair Capital, the takeover fits in with its strategy: "This acquisition is in line with RGI's strategic growth initiatives," says Partner Raja Hadji-Touma. He is confident that Flexperto "will expand its global presence and leading position through the opportunities offered by the insurance technology sector."

"By joining forces, we are combining RGI's experience in core systems with our expertise in digital customer experience," says Flexperto CEO Felix Anthonj. There are also plans to expand into other markets such as France and Italy. And: "The global pandemic has shown how important a seamless digital communication experience has become for any end-customer facing business and we look forward to continuing our growth trajectory and increasing our development efforts."

RGI, which is acquiring Flexperto, offers digital solutions for insurance companies from 21 locations.
