RGI buys Flexperto

The Berlin-based start-up Flexperto digitizes communication steps in companies. Now the Milan-based company RGI has taken over the start-up.

Nine years after its founding, Flexperto has been sold. Milan-based RGI, a portfolio company of Corsair Capital, has acquired 100 percent of the Berlin-based start-up. Flexperto supports companies in B2B communication through web-based software tools. Nothing is known about a purchase price.

After its founding in 2012, Flexperto was able to attract investors such as Hub:raum from Deutsche Telekom, IBB Ventures and Berliner Volksbank Ventures in financing rounds as early as 2015. 100 customers trust in the Berlin start-up.

For Corsair Capital, the acquisition fits primarily into its strategy: "This acquisition coincides with RGI's strategic growth initiatives," says partner Raja Hadji-Touma. He is confident that Flexperto "will expand its global footprint and top position through opportunities in the insurance technology sector."

"Through the merger, we are combining RGI's core systems experience with our digital customer experience expertise," says CEO Felix Anthonj of Flexperto. There are also plans to expand into other markets such as France and Italy. And, "The global pandemic has shown how important a seamless digital communication experience has become for any end-user facing business and we look forward to continuing our growth trajectory and increasing our development deployment."

RGI, which is acquiring Flexperto, provides digital solutions for insurance companies from 21 locations.
