Sqin can look forward to a famous investor

The Berlin start-up Sqin has, according to a report by Gründerszene has completed a pre-seed financing round. In addition to the major venture capitalists Accel and APX, Thomas Hayo, who has been a judge on the show Germany's Next Topmodel for many years, is also said to have invested. Sqin is said to have raised a total of one million euros.
A spokeswoman confirmed Hayo's investment to the magazine. "The founding team met Thomas Hayo a long time ago in New York. Since then, a personal relationship has developed, which is why he contributed his expertise right from the start," she told Gründerszene.
Sqin is dedicated to the fight against skin problems and diseases. According to the start-up, these are often linked to mental illnesses. "The massive lack of dermatological care options creates a vicious circle.

The young company from Berlin is working on an AI-based app that will support users throughout their lives and assist them in all matters relating to their skin health and personal well-being. Dermatologists will be able to make minor diagnoses via telemedicine using the app.
