Just a few days ago, the start-up completed a financing round of 200 million euros. Now, according to a media report, it wants to go public.

According to a report in the magazine Capital magazine, Volocopter is focusing on an IPO with the help of a Spac. This would involve the company merging with a company already listed on the stock exchange. The magazine cites statements from within the company. Volocopter did not initially issue a statement. An IPO could make it easier for the company to raise more money from investors.

The start-up from Bruchsal closed a financing round of 200 million euros just a few days ago. Existing investors included Daimler, Intel and DB Schenker. New investors include the investment company Blackrock, which is participating via funds, as well as Continental, Avala Capital, the company Atlantia, the investment fund Jericho Capital and others.
