Volocopter is apparently aiming for an IPO via a SPAC

Just a few days ago, the start-up closed a financing round of 200 million euros. Now, according to a media report, it wants to go public.

Flight taxi startup Volocopter is betting on an IPO using a Spac, according to a report in the magazine. Capital is betting on an IPO with the help of a Spacs. For this purpose, the company would merge with a company already listed on the stock exchange. The magazine cites statements from within the company in this regard. There was initially no statement from Volocopter. An IPO could make it easier for the company to get more money from investors.

Just a few days ago, the start-up from Bruchsal closed a financing round of 200 million euros. The investors included existing investors such as Daimler, Intel and DB Schenker. New investors include the investment company Blackrock, which is participating via funds, as well as Continental, Avala Capital, the company Atlantia, the investment fund Jericho Capital and others.
