Wise founder launches new fund

According to media reports, the Plural Fund has a volume of 250 million euros and is intended to support European start-ups in their early stages.
Wise founder Taavet Hinrikus is launching a new fund together with other founders, according to start-up scene reports. According to the report, the so-called Plural Fund will comprise 250 million euros. The capital will only be managed by investors who were founders themselves or have managed a company. The individual investments are to be between one and ten million euros.
Hinrikus founded the fund together with Khaled Heloui, former CEO of the gaming group Bigpoint, Songkick founder Ian Hogarth and Sten Tamkivi, former manager at Skype. The fund founders are apparently of the opinion that only a few investors in Europe have experience in building up technology companies. This would leave a lot of potential undiscovered, Heloui explains at start-up scene quoted.
According to Plural Fonds, it has already invested in 14 companies. These include the Berlin insurance start-up Feather and the US fintech Mos.
