The Munich-based start-up receives a mid-six-figure sum from existing investor APX and attracts well-known business angels.

The desire for sustainable mobility has spawned many start-ups and business ideas. Ridebee is also focusing on this by connecting work colleagues for shared car journeys. The Munich-based start-up has now raised a mid-six-figure sum in its seed financing. The existing investor Axel Springer und Porsche (APX) has been joined by several business angels: Andreas Burike from Anydesk, Gunter Dueck from Sharpist, Michael Hetzer from Tomorrow Bank and Michael Schnickmann from Rebike1.

The Ridebee concept has already been used by 10,000 employees at various company locations in Germany. The money will be used to expand the service, for example to include private journeys and other shared mobility alternatives. "The increasing changes in everyday working life are having an impact on, among other things, greater flexibility in the requirements for individual mobility," explain founders Lukas Mohs and Fabian Seitz to Munich Startup.
