Vento launches second fund in the amount of 75 million euros

Support for Italian founders worldwide. The Italian VC plans to support 375 start-ups over the next five years.

Turin, March 13, 2025 - The Italian early-stage investor Vento has launched its second fund with a volume of 75 million euros. The company intends to use the capital to support Italian founders worldwide and further develop the innovation landscape in Italy.

Expansion of the investment approach

With the new fund, Vento plans to make 375 investments over the next five years. The fund follows the previous model, which includes structural support for start-ups in addition to capital:

• Direct investments: A standardized investment of 150,000 euros with the possibility of further follow-up financing.
• Venture Building: A five-month program that has already contributed to the creation of 26 new startups.
• Italian Tech Week: An annual event that brings together founders, investors and industry experts.

Italy as a European tech hub

The fund is backed by an experienced investment committee, including industry experts such as Diego Piacentini, Mike Volpi and Jean de La Rochebrochard. The aim is to position Italy as a leading technology hub in Europe.
