25 million euros for Moss

The fintech raises more money in its extended Series A financing round. According to its own information, Moss is now valued at 225 million euros.
Berlin-based fintech Moss has received a further 25 million euros as part of its extended Series A financing round. Six months ago, investors had already invested 21 million euros in the start-up, which offers corporate credit cards. The current round is led by Valar Ventures, the technology VC of Paypal co-founder Peter Thiel. The two VCs Cherry Ventures and Global Founders Capital from Berlin also provided further funding. In total, the investors invested more than 55 million euros in the Berlin-based fintech.
Since the Series A financing round six months ago, the number of Moss customers has quadrupled, says CEO and co-founder Ante Spittler. "With our credit product, we are currently unique in card and expense management." Moss issues both physical and virtual corporate credit cards, primarily to start-ups and digital companies. The fintech advertises higher card limits than its competitors. Moss was founded in 2019 and now employs more than 100 people.
The start-up has now announced its intention to conquer the European market with the help of the new investment. The Berlin-based company plans to start operating in another country this year, followed by others next year. Moss also wants to further expand the software. The workforce is set to double.
