The founders and investors of Bitterpower GmbH have sold the majority of their shares. However, an investor from "Die Höhle der Löwen" remains involved.

Arcus Capital is buying 60 percent of the shares in Bitterpower. The founders Andre Sierek and Jan Stratmann, as well as the investors Good Brands, Grenion Capital and Start Now previously held the shares. The two founders and "Die Höhle der Löwen" investor Judith Williams and her investment company Start Now remain minority shareholders. It was not disclosed how much Arcus Capital paid for the share purchases.

Sierek and Stratmann will remain managing partners. Arcus Capital will support Bitterpower with strategy development, finances and potential internationalization.

Bitterpower is known from the show "Die Höhle der Löwen", in which the two founders presented the nutritional supplement Bitterliebe. Sierek and Stratmann founded the start-up in 2018 and have seen strong growth since then. This year, Bitterpower expects sales in the double-digit millions and a seven-figure profit. Twelve employees currently work for Bitterpower.
