Incari raises 15 million euros

Lukasz Gadowski is no stranger to the start-up scene and is now back with a new investment: he is leading the Series A financing round of the Berlin start-up Incari with his investment company Team Europe.
The Berlin start-up Incari has closed a Series A financing round of 15 million euros. The round was led by investor Lukasz Gadowski and his investment company Team Europe, whose portfolio also includes start-ups such as Wolt and Volocopter.
"Incari's approach is impressive," says Gadowski. "Together, we now want to create a large, globally active, independent company." Incari is dedicated to so-called human-machine interfaces (HMI); the company's software makes it easier to set up complex interfaces even without programming knowledge. The funding will be used to further develop the platform, which is being designed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and the Daimler Center for Automotive IT Innovations.
In addition, the areas of application of the software are to be expanded: "Incari can be used wherever interfaces between man and machine are required," says Osman Dumbuya, CEO of Incari. "Today, our system is used in the automotive industry in particular. However, there is great demand in many other industries such as healthcare, construction and aerospace."
Incari was founded by Dumbuya in 2011 under the name CGI Studio and only became Incari this year.
