Incari raises 15 million euros
Lukasz Gadowski is no stranger to the startup scene, and now he's back with a new investment: he's leading the Series A financing round of Berlin-based startup Incari with his investment company Team Europe.
Berlin-based startup Incari has closed a Series A funding round of €15 million. The round was led by investor Lukasz Gadowski with his investment company Team Europe, whose portfolio also includes startups such as Wolt and Volocopter.
"Incari's approach is captivating," says Gadowski. "Together, we now want to create a large, globally active, independent company." Incari is dedicated to so-called human-machine interfaces (HMI), and the company's software makes it easy to set up complex interfaces without programming skills. The financing will be used to further develop the platform, which is being designed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and the Daimler Center for Automotive IT Innovations.
In addition, the software's areas of application are to be expanded: "Incari can be used wherever interfaces between humans and machines are necessary," says Osman Dumbuya, CEO of Incari. "Today, our system is used in particular in the automotive industry. However, there is high demand in a variety of other industries such as healthcare, construction and aerospace."
Incari was founded by Dumbuya in 2011 still under the name CGI Studio, only this year it became Incari.
