Myflexbox comes to Germany

The Austrian start-up's smart parcel stations will also be available in Germany this fall.
Almost four years after it was founded, the Salzburg-based start-up Myflexbox is expanding into Germany. The company wants to set up the first provider-independent parcel stations in Germany by this fall. By 2030, the company wants to achieve a network density similar to that in Austria. Initially, the start-up wants to focus on metropolitan areas, particularly Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and the Ruhr region.
Founded in 2018, the company will be part of Salzburg AG from July and aims to enable its customers to receive, send and return parcels contactlessly. "This saves time and unnecessary journeys for everyone involved," says co-founder Jonathan Grothaus. According to the company, it now has 200 locations. By the end of 2025, the network should comprise around 1,000 locations.
"Many of our cooperation partners are convinced by our solution and want to take the step into Germany with us," says Lukas Wieser, co-founder of Myflexbox. The start-up is currently still analyzing suitable locations in Germany.
