The Passau-based company plans to issue shares from September at the latest. The start-up wants to raise 100 million euros.

The Passau-based muesli retailer is planning an IPO this fall. This was reported by the news agency Reuters with reference to people involved. The start-up was founded in 2007 and sells individually customizable muesli mixes. The valuation is said to be 250 million euros. The start-up intends to issue shares worth 100 million euros in the IPO.

The investment bank Berenberg has been commissioned with the IPO, reports Reuters. The issue is planned for this September, but could also be brought forward to July. "As a fast-growing company, we are constantly reviewing strategic alternatives to finance our future growth," said a company spokesperson. Berenberg did not comment.

Hamburg-based investor Genui acquired a stake in MyMuesli in 2016 and now holds a third of the shares. The company operated 23 of its own stores at the time. During the pandemic, however, MyMuesli decided to close all but three of them. The company's turnover is just under 100 million euros. The most recently published balance sheet for 2018 still shows a loss.
