Mymuesli expands its management team

Daniel Setzermann joins the start-up as an additional managing director. He will share the management of the company with the founders Hubertus Bessau and Philipp Kraiss.

The Passau-based start-up Mymuesli wants to focus on its online business and has therefore promoted Daniel Setzermann from within its own ranks as an additional Managing Director. Setzermann will become Chief Digital Officer.

"We are delighted to have found the ideal addition to our team in Daniel," say Mymuesli founders Hubertus Bessau and Philipp Kraiss, explaining their decision to appoint him to the management board. Setzermann (34) has been with the provider of home-mixed muesli for many years. He joined Mymuesli in 2009 during the start-up phase and built up the online business alongside the founders.

Founded in 2007, the start-up offers customers the opportunity to create their own individual muesli via its website. The products are now available in Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Austria and Sweden.

Mymuesli recently announced that it would have to close 20 of its 23 stores in Germany. Both the lockdown and the less busy city centers would not have been enough to maintain the stores, the start-up announced in February.
