New investor for Retamo

Conversion Maker joins the customer review start-up. Retamo now plans to offer its in-house software internationally soon.

The review management start-up Retamo has gained a new investor. The Offenburg-based company Conversion Maker is joining the company. Both sides remained silent about the financial terms, with Retamo merely stating that it had now reached a seven-figure valuation. "With Conversion Maker, we have gained our strategic partner of choice after just ten months on the market," says Retamo Managing Director Nico Trittmacher.

The start-up aims to help companies analyze, monitor and generate online customer reviews. Companies should be able to control their online reputation and thus prevent customers from being put off by bad reviews. The company explains that it adheres to the strict requirements of the GDPR. With the support of Conversion Maker, the company is now planning to expand internationally.

Conversion Maker advises companies on all aspects of customer management. The company already works with various start-ups, such as Mixpanel, Kameleoon and Contentsquare. "The partnership with Retamo enables us to provide our customers with a state-of-the-art review management tool," says Conversion Maker Managing Director Michael Witzenleiter, who is delighted with the investment.
