New investor for Retamo

Conversion Maker joins the customer review start-up. Now Retamo wants to offer its in-house software internationally soon.

The rating management start-up Retamo gains a new investor. The Offenburg-based company Conversion Maker is joining the company. Both sides were silent about the financial modalities, Retamo only stated that it has now reached a seven-figure valuation. "With Conversion Maker, we have gained our strategic partner of choice after only ten months on the market," says Retamo CEO Nico Trittmacher.

The start-up wants to help companies analyze, monitor and generate online customer reviews. Companies should be able to control their online reputation and thus prevent customers from being put off by bad reviews. They do so while adhering to the strict requirements of the GDPR, as the company explains. With the support of Conversion Maker, they are now planning to expand internationally.

Conversion Maker advises companies on all issues relating to customer management. For this purpose, it already works with various start-ups, such as Mixpanel, Kameleoon or Contentsquare. "Through the partnership with Retamo, we can provide our customers with a state-of-the-art review management tool," says Conversion Maker CEO Michael Witzenleiter about the investment.
