Scoutbee brings in new CTO from Voi

The Würzburg-based start-up has recruited Swede Mikael Söderberg from the e-scooter provider. Scoutbee had already expanded its management team in recent weeks.

The AI start-up Scoutbee has gained another top manager. Having already appointed Michael Lindqvist (previously Ada Health) and Sören Blom (formerly Zalando and Finleap) as new Directors of Engineering in recent months, the company has now also introduced Mikael Söderberg as its new Chief Product & Technology Officer.

Söderberg was most recently Chief Technology Officer at e-scooter provider Voi. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at LG and Antler, among others. "As a data-driven engineer in particular, I have a real affinity with scoutbee as an application of AI," said Söderberg on the occasion of his introduction: "The talented team has made remarkable progress in recent years, has a loyal user base and is establishing a global industry standard for B2B supply-demand matchmaking."

Scoutbee offers a Ki-based platform for collecting supplier data. The company currently supports around 150 customers. In his new role, Söderberg will lead the product, technology and engineering teams. Scoutbee CEO Gregor Stühler emphasized the high expectations he has of the new man: "Mikael has a track record of developing ground-breaking and robust platforms to tackle some of the world's biggest challenges. Our trajectory will undoubtedly improve under his product and engineering stewardship."
