Cologne, February 5, 2025 - Cologne-based AI startup octonomy has secured an investment of 5 million euros from venture capitalist Capnamic in a pre-seed financing round. With its AI agent solution, the company sets new standards in the automation of support services and achieves a response accuracy of over 95% - a value that is far above previous standards.

Automation as an answer to the shortage of skilled workers

Companies are faced with the challenge of making their customer service efficient, while at the same time there is a considerable shortage of skilled workers. According to a study by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), 1.75 million jobs were unfilled nationwide in the first quarter of 2023, which poses major challenges for support departments in particular.
