Sennder wants to be Unicorn

The Berlin logistics start-up is looking for new capital and is calling for a billion-euro valuation.
The forwarding company Sennder is looking for further investment, reports German start-ups. The founders David Nothacker, Nicolaus Schefenacker and Julius Köhler are apparently calling for a billion-euro valuation. Sennder is therefore on its way to becoming a unicorn.
In the summer, Sennder merged with its French competitor Everoad. In September, the start-up then bought the European freight business from Uber Freight. Among other things, Sennder manages truck logistics for large e-commerce providers. The Berlin-based company also handles express deliveries and refrigerated transportation.
Sennder was founded in 2015 and specializes in full truck loads. Today, the Berlin-based start-up employs 600 people at seven European locations.
