Here's what happens next at Windeln.de after the insolvency filing

Together with CEO Bastian Salewsky, the appointed insolvency administrator has now informed the workforce about the next steps.
Munich Local Court has appointed Ivo-Meinert Willrodt from Pluta Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator for Windeln.de. The company filed for insolvency last Friday. Willrodt, together with CEO Bastian Salewsky, has already informed the employees that business operations will continue. Maintenance work is currently underway, after which the online store should be available again without restrictions.
Windeln.de filed for insolvency due to liquidity problems. The company was founded in 2010 and has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2015. A further capital increase did not materialize recently. CEO Salewsky describes the first half of 2022 as "mixed" and has been in office since April. "The company was able to improve its adjusted earnings," he says. "However, the application was unavoidable."
The aim now is to find a new investor for Windeln.de. The online retailer delivers its products to Germany, Switzerland and China. Insolvency administrator Willrodt first wants to stabilize business operations and then look for new investors.
