Five start-ups presented their start-ups at the LfA Förderbank's Elevator Pitch. The company impressed with its iron salt battery.
Voltstorage came out on top against five competitors at the LfA Förderbank Bayern elevator pitch at the Ludwig Erhard Summit. The start-up received the Weimer Media Future Award, endowed with an advertising budget of 100,000 euros. Voltstorage founder Jakob Bitner took part in the pitch with his newly developed iron salt battery. This should make it possible to store renewable energy in an ecological way. The basis for this is redox flow technology.
According to Börse am Sonntag, Quantum Systems, Ororatech, German Bionic Systems, Evum and Blickfeld were also shortlisted for the summit. The companies were able to present their products to the audience in a four-minute pitch. The audience then voted.
Quantum Systems, led by founder Florian Seibel, develops high-tech drones. Ororatech pitched its satellites equipped with thermal imaging cameras that can create precise maps and predict forest fires. The product of Peter Heiligensetzer's start-up German Bionic Systems is an industrial exoskeleton. The skeletons are designed to help people with musculoskeletal disorders. Evum is a manufacturer of electric vehicles, while Blickfeld develops laser-based sensors for autonomous vehicles.
