Application phase for the 3rd Stuttgart Innovation Award - prizes worth 100,000 euros

The 3rd Stuttgart Innovation Award has started its application phase. A total of 100,000 euros will be awarded in four categories to honor companies from Stuttgart for their innovative solutions.

Stuttgart, January 2025 - Stuttgart-based companies, start-ups and initiatives can now apply for the 3rd Stuttgart Innovation Award. Endowed with a total of 100,000 euros, the state capital of Stuttgart honors outstanding innovative ideas that make a positive contribution to economic strength and the common good.

Aim of the Innovation Award

The innovation prize is awarded to companies whose products, applications or business models demonstrate a significant improvement on existing solutions. Ideas that contribute to the economic development of Stuttgart and at the same time have a positive impact on society are particularly sought after. The application deadline is March 31, 2025 and the award ceremony is scheduled for October 14, 2025 at Stuttgart City Hall.

Application categories and conditions of participation

The Stuttgart Innovation Award is presented in four categories. These include both technical and non-technical innovations:

• Sustainability and Social - 25,000 euros
• Digitalization - 25,000 euros
• Mobility - 25,000 euros
• Start-up - 25,000 euros

All companies, start-ups and initiatives that are based or have a permanent establishment in the city of Stuttgart are eligible to participate. Start-ups can apply if their market launch is imminent or a functioning prototype already exists. The market launch of the solutions must not have taken place more than four years ago.

Award ceremony on October 14

The awards ceremony will take place at an event in Stuttgart City Hall. The winners can look forward to prize money of 25,000 euros each.
