Exclusive: Molteo founder Jonas Stamm founds platform for construction companies

The start-up Crafthunt connects skilled workers with construction companies. The company aims to alleviate the shortage of workers in the industry.

Molteo founder Jonas Stamm has launched a new start-up: construction companies and skilled workers looking for work can now network with each other on his platform Crafthunt. Construction workers can enter their personal information such as work experience, team experience, previous management positions and driving license. The companies can initially view this information anonymously. The skilled workers then decide for themselves whether they want to contact the companies by name.

With his new start-up, Stamm wants to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the construction industry and enable skilled workers to present their skills beyond university degrees and Chamber of Industry and Commerce certificates. To this end, the start-up conducted interviews in advance to determine which skills are important to companies. "Crafthunt allows everyone to showcase their skills transparently. This allows skilled workers to receive a fair wage, as companies can target the talent they need. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved," says Stamm.

Stamm has already founded several start-ups. During his bachelor's degree in 2011, he founded Festival Pfandsystem and sold it in 2013. His second company, Jader, operated a platform for hunting trips. His software company Molteo has been around since 2018. Construction companies can use the Molteo app to plan assignments, keep construction diaries and record working hours.
