Exclusive: Molteo founder Jonas Stamm establishes platform for construction companies

The start-up Crafthunt connects skilled workers with construction companies. In this way, the company wants to alleviate the shortage of workers in the industry.

Molteo founder Jonas Stamm has launched a new start-up: on his platform Crafthunt, construction companies and skilled workers looking for work can now connect with each other. For this purpose, construction workers can deposit their personal information such as work experience, team experience, previous management positions and driver's license. The companies can initially view this information anonymously. The skilled workers then decide for themselves whether they want to contact the companies by name.

With his new start-up, Stamm wants to do something about the shortage of skilled workers in the construction industry and enable skilled workers to showcase their skills outside of university degrees and Chamber of Industry and Commerce certificates. To do this, the startup determined in advance through interviews which skills are important to companies. "Through Crafthunt, everyone can transparently showcase their skills. This allows skilled workers to earn a fair wage, as companies can target the talent they need. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved," Stamm says.

Stamm has already founded several start-ups. During his bachelor's degree in 2011, he founded Festival Pfandsystem and sold it in 2013. His second company, Jader, operated a platform for hunting trips. His software company Molteo has existed since 2018. In the Molteo app, construction companies can plan assignments, keep construction diaries and record working hours.
