Holidu expands to Greece

The travel start-up wants to benefit from the increased demand for vacations in Greece. A local subsidiary is launched.
The travel start-up Holidu is continuing its expansion course and wants to gain a foothold in Greece in the future. The subsidiary Bookiply, based in Munich, has recently established a presence in Greece and wants to broker vacation homes and vacation accommodation to German vacationers. It wants to lure landlords in Greece with its marketing and management software and German vacationers with the widest possible range of offers.
The new accommodations will appear on the Holidu website. In future, Greek users will be able to book their vacation accommodation in their own country just like German users. "With our expansion to Greece, we are responding to the increased demand on both sides - that of vacation rental companies as well as vacationers. Greece is one of the top vacation destinations in 2022," says Johannes Siebers, CEO and co-founder of Holidu.
Founded in 2014 by Johannes and Michael Siebers, the company is now represented in 19 locations and markets in Greece. So far this year alone, seven branches have been added. The start-up is otherwise active in France, Italy and Portugal, among other countries.
