Holidu expands to Greece

The travel start-up wants to profit from the increased demand for vacations in Greece. A local subsidiary is being launched.

The travel start-up Holidu is continuing its expansion course and wants to gain a foothold in Greece in the future. The Munich-based subsidiary Bookiply has recently launched a presence in Greece for this purpose and aims to broker vacation homes and vacation rentals to German vacationers. It wants to lure house landlords in Greece with its software for marketing and administration, the German holiday-makers with as large an offer as possible.

Appear the new accommodations on the side of Holidu. There, in the future, Greek users will be able to book their vacation accommodations in their own country as well as German users. "With our expansion to Greece, we are responding to the increased demand on both sides - that of the vacation home landlords:inside as well as the holidaymakers:inside. Greece is one of the top vacation destinations in 2022," says Johannes Siebers, CEO and co-founder of Holidu.

Founded in 2014 by Johannes and Michael Siebers, the company is now represented in 19 locations and markets with Greece. So far, seven branches have been added this year alone. The start-up is otherwise active in France, Italy and Portugal, among other countries.
