Over the next three months, Independesk wants to find new investors and develop a long-term business concept.

The start-up Independesk has filed for insolvency. Insolvency proceedings have been underway since November 10 to help the start-up find new investors and develop a long-term business concept. According to information from Gründerszene there have already been talks with interested parties.

Independesk founder Karsten Kossatz told Gründerszene that the reason for the insolvency was that a financing round did not materialize. Due to the current economic conditions, the business also developed differently than expected.

Karsten Kossatz founded Independesk in Berlin during the coronavirus pandemic. The associated app went online on September 15, 2020. Company employees can use the start-up to book workspaces, offices and meeting rooms by the hour at 1,700 locations in Germany and Switzerland. This allows companies to save office space and employees to avoid commuting. Carsten Maschmeyer and Georg Kofler invested 200,000 euros in Independesk during an appearance on the start-up TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen".
